Chic city vibes
Bluestone laneways, rooftop bars and the kind of restaurant that will happily give you the back room for fourteen. Best light: late afternoon, when the west sun runs down the alleys.
A smaller guest list, a longer day
A micro wedding is not a shrunken version of a big one. Twenty guests instead of a hundred means no seating chart politics, no receiving line, no two hours lost to formal portraits you never print.
We photograph and film it the way it actually unfolds — the getting ready, the ceremony, the long lunch that runs late because nobody is watching the clock. Cinematic, unhurried, and close enough to catch what's said quietly.
Where we shoot
Small weddings move. You can be married in a laneway at eleven and drinking on a clifftop by five — which is exactly why this city suits an intimate day.

Mountain ash, fern gullies and vineyard light an hour from the city. Cool, quiet and green year-round — the setting that photographs best in soft overcast weather.
Wind-shaped tea trees, pale sand and long golden hours over the bay. Ceremonies on the sand are permitted at most Peninsula beaches with a simple council permit.
Micro wedding collections
Every collection includes both photography and film, a second shooter where the day needs one, and a private online gallery. All prices in AUD, GST inclusive.

A recent day
Married at the Fitzroy Town Hall registry at 11am, then a two-hour lunch in Carlton that quietly became four. We finished on the Peninsula for the last of the light.

Before you enquire
Still unsure about something? Send it through — we answer every enquiry personally, usually within a day.
Roughly thirty guests or fewer, with a real ceremony and a real celebration afterwards. Below about eight guests it's usually an elopement, which we shoot a little differently and price separately.
Yes. Anything within about 90 minutes of the CBD — the Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Macedon, Bellarine — is included in every collection. For the Great Ocean Road, regional Victoria or interstate, we'll quote travel at cost with your proposal.
Included. Every collection is photography and film together — that's the whole point of how we work. Shooting both ourselves means one small team in the room instead of two, which matters far more when there are eighteen people present than when there are a hundred.
Six to twelve months for a Saturday between October and April. Weekdays and winter dates often come together in a few weeks, and we hold a handful of short-notice dates each season for exactly that.
Almost nobody does, and it's the most common thing we hear. We direct lightly — a place to stand, something to do with your hands — and then get out of the way. Most of what we deliver is made while you've forgotten we're there.
A preview set of around twenty images within 48 hours, the full gallery in three weeks, and your film four to six weeks after the day. Albums add a further three weeks once you've approved the layout.
